Homemade Sweet Tea Vodka and Lemonade

Ingredients
  • ½ Bottle of Gluten Free Vodka (I prefer Tahoe Blue)
  • 6 Bags of Twining's Decaf English Breakfast Tea
  • Sugar to Taste (I use about 1½ Tablespoons to one 750 ml Bottle of Tahoe Blue)
Instructions
  1. Put the Vodka in a mason jar and steep all six tea bags in the vodka for 2-3 hours until it's a dark amber color. (It's a concentrate so you want it strong, and unlike green tea, the black tea won't get bitter.)
  2. Add Sugar to the jar with the vodka 1 Tablespoon at a time until it's your desired sweetness and shake it to combine and dissolve. ***I used to use simple syrup so it was already dissolved, but this way you're keeping the alcohol content of the vodka while managing the amount of Sugar you use. .
  3. To make the drink, add 1½ shots of the sweet tea vodka to a glass with ice. Pour in Simply Lemonade to your desired mixture. Squeeze a wedge of Lemon into the drink and mix well. Enjoy!
